D2: Rest at Nyamlam Get acclimatized and visit Nyamlam Pelgye Ling
(Milarepa Cave), which was once used by the eleventh and twelfth poet-lama
Milarepa.
D3: Nyamlam-->Kharta Drive to Lalung La (4800M) and
enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Himalayan range on the way. After driving
across the Tibetan Plateau and through a series of ancient Tibetan villages, Mt.
Everest comes into view. Head south towards the Everest district and take a
short break on the Pang La pass. Descend from the pass and arrive at
Kharta.
D4: Rest day in Kharta for further acclimatization Make
preparations and get your body ready for the upcoming trek.
D 5: Trekking
to Lundrubling The trekking adventure begins along the well-defined trail at
the banks of the Kharta River. After a few kilometers the trail divides into
two. Follow the upper one and head to Shao La. The most charming scenery of this
trip is unveiled when surrounded by amazing views of valleys below and
snow-covered peaks to the east. Camp in the village of Lundrubling.
D6:
Trek to Kaamo Tsangpo Valley Climb to the Shao La pass. Enjoy the gorgeous
sight of Mt. Everest, such as yak pastures and meandering valleys along the way.
After passing through impressive birch groves and marvelous rhododendrons,
visitors will find the Joksam campsite, surrounded by picturesque pine and fir
forests.
