D13: Gyantse-->Shigatse(Distance: 90km)
Travel to Shigatse and visit
the Tashilumpo Monastery. Stay overnight in a hotel.
D14: Shigatse-->Lhasa (Distance: 337km)
Drive back to Lhasa. Stay
overnight in a hotel.
D15 and 16: Lhasa-->Chengdu-->Bangkok-->San Francisco
Fly from
Lhasa to Chengdu, transfer at Bangkok, and stay overnight in the Amari Airport
Hotel. Depart for San Francisco the next morning.
Tips:
1) Because the high altitudes, participants
should be physically fit. If you have any cardiovascular or respiratory
conditions, please consult a doctor before taking this tour.
2) This
overland trip is time-consuming and the majority of it is conducted in
four-wheel drive Land Cruisers. The road can be bumpy, especially in Tsedang,
Bayi and Gyantse. Tourists should bring along some motion sickness medication.
