D5: In Tesdang
Take an exciting tour to the Yarlung Valley located near Tsedang, once the capital of Tibet before Lhasa. Visit the ancient temples of Samye and Trandruk (²ýÖéËÂ)in this area.

D6: Tsedang-->NangxianÀÊÏØ (Distance: 164km)
Visit the valleys on the south bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River. Explore the forests.. Drive south across Potram La Pass (16,700 feet above sea level) and then head to eastern Nangxian. Stay overnight in Nangxian Lodge.

D7 and 8: Nangxian-->Bayi(Distance: 100km))
Leave Nangxian, cross the north bank of the grand Tsangpo at Melling to Bayi. Travel 80km to the east of the town to explore the wild alpine forests and the Lunang Valley and see the snow-capped peaks of Namche Barwa. Spend two nights in Nyingtri Hotel

D 9: Bayi-->Lhasa (Distance: 400km)
The journey from Bayi to Lhasa crosses forested valleys, small villages and farming communities. Stop to take pictures along the way. Stay overnight in Lhasa.

D10 and 11: In Lhasa
Explore the divine city. Spend one day on visiting the wondrous Potala Palace and leave the next day to tour mysterious monasteries, including Jokhang, Drepung and Nechung.
D12: Lhasa-->Gyantse(Distance: 266km)
Head up a 15,700-foot pass and then down to Lake Yamdrok. Cross the Nyang Chu Valley and get to the old-fashioned town of Gyantse (12,956 feet), visit the Palkor Chiod monastery and stay overnight in a hotel.
