What to expect:

From San Francisco, this return trip takes you on a circuitous tour of high elevations and some of the most mysterious places in the world. Participants will drive through passes at approximately 17,000 feet above sea level and spend 12 nights at altitudes ranging from nearly 10,000 feet to almost 13,000 feet above sea level. Day-by-day Itinerary:

D 1, 2, 3, and 4: San Francisco/Bangko/Tsedang, Tibet
Fly from San Francisco to Bangkok and stay overnight in the Amari Airport Hotel in Bangkok. Transfer to Tesdang (11,152 feet above sea level) the next day, check in at a hotel and get acclimatized. Stay overnight in the Tsedang Hotel.
