Education Bureau of Toutunhe District said that 120 million yuan was invested to improve the school condition this year. The investing programs include two kindergarten extensions, one new dormitory building and two youth activity center constructions in the No. 69 Middle School. Six school playground developments, three school gate renovations, twelve school dormitory maintenance and demolition works of the No. 122 Primary School solved 1,600 students' schooling problem.

Zhang Chengqi, the student in Class 8, Grade 4 of the No. 122 Primary School, said the school condition is very good and he wants to study and grow up happily until graduation.

Wang Xihua, the teacher in charge of Class 7, Grade 5 in the No. 122 Primary School, said she will devote herself to the education and the development of students.

This year, the Development Zone (Toutunhe Distrct) is pushing forward the adjustment of middle school, primary school and kindergarten. Two unqualified civilian-run primary schools are suspended and relevant students have transferred to neighboring schools with governmental help. In addition, the poverty aiding programs for two primary schools in the Hetian City have been successful through the support from new computers, books, laboratory items and other teaching equipment.

Sun Suhua, the director of the local educational bureau, said according to the working target in 2011, there are two objectives this year: one is the continuing contribution to education and health services, the other is the proper renovation to education system. This includes integrating education resources, improving schooling conditions, raising education quality and solving good students' schooling problems. So far, these two objectives have been accomplished successfully.
