The Urumqi State High-tech Industrial Zone’s housing estate planning bureau and its vice-head, Li Ling, have visited Xinjiang University’s Construction Engineering College and its 3D virtual lab for help with ideas on construction and planning.

The visitors got a look at an animation of a virtual construction sit and related planning and said afterwards that the Zone will seriously consider applying the 3D technology to improve their planning and management, which could benefit construction work in the zone.

This 3D virtual technology for construction and planning is used to simulate a real environment by inputting data that reflects the real urban situation. It is considered a more scientific approach to urban construction work and development.
