Xinjiang's 4th cultural expo to open in August

The 4th Xinjiang Silk Road Cultural and Creative Industry Expo will be held from Aug 19 to 21.

The expo is organized by Xinjiang's bureau of culture and undertaken by the Xinjiang International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

As an annual cultural industry summit, it will be a wonderful gathering of world-class companies and products.

It will focus on exhibitions and trade, comprehensive activities, innovative programs, award evaluations, online cultural items, small handheld cultural products, and venues.

The exhibition center's halls to be used will be nos. 4, 5 and 6 occupying an area of 18,470 square meters.

The three venues will accommodate 15 display areas including pavilions of cultural heritage, film and publishing and garment design.

The expo will be a platform to promote information exchange in the cultural innovative industry and project cooperation.

Officials of the bureau of culture said the 4th expo intends to add its brand to the marketability of products from the Silk Road Economic Belt area and to connect Xinjiang's high-quality cultural resources with local markets.
