Karamay City High School is set to launch a series of international cooperation programs to expand overseas study options for its students.

Zhao Guosheng, headmaster of Karamay City High School and Michael Price, director of the school's China-Canada education program will head up the recruitment of foreign teachers to improve the quality of education.

According to Price, the school is seeking foreign teachers with at least one year's education experience. Foreign teachers currently employed at the high school come from an array of English speaking countries such as America, Canada and Australia.

"Our China-America education program has a high requirement of students and we hope that our students will be able to enter the top 50 universities in America," said Zhao.

According to the plan, 100 students will have the chance to enter the school's international education cooperation program in 2016.
