Xinjiang health officials hold lectures in Huocheng

Accompanied by Dabu deputy head Huang Zhibing, Xinjiang Health Department Director Mamat Yasen and Yili Health Bureau Director Bo Lati paid a visit to Shuiding Town, in the county of Huocheng, in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, on May 15, and held a lecture on medical reform policies and chronic disease prevention.

In the lecture, Mamat Yasen talked about world medical health reform and development, and new trends and policies in China’s 2014 medical reform.

He urged more efforts to offer basic medical services, public health services, drug supplies, and medical insurance reform.

Forty-two people from Shuiding’s hospitals heard the lecture.
