On Sep. 8, with the opening of the 13th China International Fair for Investment &Trade at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, the 5th Cross-Strait Travel Fair was opened too.

The exhibition hall of the 5th Cross-Strait Travel Fair highlighted the thematic image of “cross-strait tour” and fully displayed the tourism cultural resources and tourism development achievements in mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan with exquisite design. As an important program of this Fair, the Top-Quality Tour Products Exhibition arranged a total of 300 exhibition booths, among which 80 were for the cities on the west coast of Taiwan Strait, 70 for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, 60 for other provinces and cities, 40 for new tourist service patterns, and 50 for famous tourism enterprises.

Remarkable achievements were also accomplished in tourism investment invitation during the Fair. On the opening day of the Fair, 15 large tourism projects were signed with total investment reaching RMB 3.436 billion yuan. And it is estimated that during the whole Fair, 46 tourism projects will be signed with total investment reaching RMB 10 billion yuan.
