Tianjin plans to build 40 industrial parks, the first 20 are currently under construction and another 20 yet to begin. All projects will be complete in 2011.
These projects are based on the industrial resources sector. The Dagu Dock Northern Navy in Qing Dynasty, built in 1880, has been reconstructed into an open-air museum, with the Sea God Temple and restored port and dock.

Other projects include the exhibition of Airbus A320 Aircraft, rocket launcher and Samsung Electronics.

According to Yin Dayong, head of the Policy and Regulation Division of Tianjin Tourism Bureau, industrial tourism shall focus on developing enterprises that can show Tianjin’s industrial development.
On the one hand, it is significant to set an industrial image for Tianjin and publicize Tianjin. 40 industrial parks shall focus on six pillar industries, including electronic information, automotive, chemical industry, metallurgy, biological technology and modern medicine, new energy.
