Eastern Chinese city wins reputation in Ebola fight in Africa

The Qingjian (Group) Co, in the city of Qingdao, Shandong province, was highly praised by Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, president of Liberia, for its construction of a China-sponsored, Ebola-virus clinic in the city of Monrovia, capital of the country.

The Group has engaged in aid for foreign countries for more than 20 years, and took part in the construction of the China's embassies in Liberia and Tanzania. It pulled together a team to participate in the building of the Ebola-virus clinic in Monrovia at the beginning of November 2014.

The Qingjian Group (formerly CNQC) was established in 1952 and now covers domestic and international contracting and investment, real estate development, capital management and logistics.
