SXU holds finance seminar

The third Shanxi University (SXU) Finance Seminar, held from May 25 to 26, invited scholars from various universities and institutes, discussing with SXU students and teachers issues in the fields of financial systematic projects, corporate finance and risk management against the background of financial reform in China.

Yang Xiaoguang, professor at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a report outlining big data's contribution to helping people understand and manage financial risks.

Yizhe Dong, professor at the University of Aberdeen Business School, shared his finding on the influence of government management on green credits, after researching relevant policies.

The seminar aimed to improve financial discipline, expand SXU's influence in financial research and promote inter-university communication and cooperation in the field.
