Shanxi University was recognized as one of China’s 99 model institutions for accomplishments in creativity and career development.

The school has made efforts to improve student entrepreneurship and creative capabilities over the past years through the establishment of regulations, an innovative collaboration system, improved curriculum, platforms for practices and increased supporting funds.

The project was enacted as a part of the Ministry of Education’s project in response to China’s 13th Five-year Plan. It was launched to promote the progress of higher education in innovation and entrepreneurship.
