A delegation from Wright State University, in the US state of Ohio, led by Stephen Foster, was met at Shanxi University by Prof Gao Ce, on Oct 24, where they planned to discuss the latest development of cooperation projects, joint scientific research, teacher-student exchanges, and renewing a cooperation agreement.

The delegates also visited various colleges, such as the School of International Education and Exchanges, School of Computer and Information Technology, School of Mathematical Technology, and the principal's office, where they were able to speak with the respective heads on their work and future cooperation.

The visitors also got a look at the university archives and the library, along with some work by the teachers and students of the Academy of Fine Arts.

Li Yi, a member of the delegation, addressed a group of teachers and students of the School of Mathematical Science, speaking about the frontiers of science and Foster praised the Chinese school for its achievements in various fields and future cooperation opportunities.
