The Shanghai Moon Lake Sculpture Park was transformed into scenes from popular cartons last weekend as an animation expo lured in cosplay artists from far and wide.

All areas of the 1,300 mu (870,000 square meter) park, including beaches, grassland and forests were decorated with elements from animation and comic books. A dancing competition, cosplay shows and signing activity were held, creating a fantasy atmosphere.

The organizer provided free dressing rooms for visitors to try on different cosplay costumes.
