Chenshan Grassland Concert kicks off in May

The Chenshan Grassland Broadcast Concert, the largest series of outdoor classical concerts, will officially start at 6pm on May 17, 2014.

A team of 130 from the Bellini Opera House, together with four distinguished singers, will bring to the concert the authentic glamour of Italian opera.

Tickets are now available at www.damai.cn. The tickets are available at 260 yuan ($41.68), 350 yuan ($ 56.11), 500 yuan ($ 80.16) for two, 660 yuan ($ 105.82) for two, 730 yuan ($ 117.04) for three and 980 yuan ($ 157.12) for three.

Xu Zhong, the chief conductor and art director of the Bellini Opera House, the first Asian art director to work in Italy’s famous opera houses, will be conducting at the concert; and the audience can also enjoy a fabulous performance by Huang Mengla, the gold prize winner of the Paganini Violin Contest.
