Chenshan Botanical Garden prepares for autumn flower show

To prepare for the autumn flower show, the staff of Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is working on sowing energy plants and improving soil for the exhibition area, Sheshantravel.com reported on July 25.

The annual flower show is one of the most important activities for the botanical garden and the most famous flower show in Shanghai. The coming flower show will be themed energy plants, covering an area almost 10,000 square meters.

Soon after the confirmation of the planting site, staff began sowing and soil improvement. The plant varieties on display include six varieties of corn, six varieties of castor, six varieties of sugar beets, sorghum, peanuts and sesame seeds. Those planted earlier on are growing well now.
