Shanghai Chenshan Botanic Garden signed a contract with the committee of the Yangtze Delta Road Trip Industrial Forum to establish a self-driving service center.

The Yangtze Delta Road Trip Industrial Forum was authorized by Jiefang Daily Group in April 2011. It was sponsored by the tourism administrations of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui, as well as the Shanghai bureau of Xinhua News Agency and the Yangtze River Delta Newsgathering Center of Xinhua. Local tourism bureaus and governments also provided support to the forum.

The self-driving service center is located in the service center of Chenshan Botanic Garden. It will not only provide service for tourists, but also act as a complex housing the local tourism information center and the self-driving service center.

The establishment of the self-driving service center will impact cities around the Yangtze River Delta and greater China. Information about Chenshan Botanic Garden will appear in over 10 scenic spots in the areas around the Yangtze River to further promote Chenshan Botanic Garden in these cities.
