The Information Research Center of International Talents, directly managed by SAFEA, is responsible for collecting, researching, publicizing and utilizing Overseas Expertise Introduction (OEI) information, and establishing the electronic administration system of SAFEA. The Center is also in charge of building up information databases of urgently needed overseas personnel, OEI programs, and OEI achievements, as well as electronic systems for the administration and evaluation of foreign experts. The Center also makes efforts to promote the online administrative examination, approval and management of foreign expert affairs. The Center provides information on overseas talents and related market demands on a regular basis, building up an information platform for international personnel exchanges, to serve the needs of OEI. The Center maintains and updates the SAFEA website(www.safea.gov.cn)and the website of the China International Talent Network (www.chinajob.com), while running the magazines Foreign Experts in China (Zhuanjia Gongzuo Tongxun), and International Talent (Guoji Rencai Jiaoliu) (www.wetalent.com). It is also responsible for the daily work of the China Society for Research on the Exchange and Development of International Professionals.

The Information and Research Center is comprised of the Integrated Financial Office,Information Office, the Editorial Office of Foreign Experts in China, the Editorial Office of International Talent, and the secretariat of the China Society for Research on the Exchange and Development of International Professionals.

The China Society for Research on the Exchange and Development of International Professionals is a nongovernmental organization comprised of researchers, practitioners and people from all sectors of society actively involved in international expertise exchange and development. Through related theoretical and practical study, the society provides research on the patterns of international expertise exchanges, promotes the introduction of overseas expertise and intellectual resources, and advances China’s social and economic development.
