Zhang Jianguo, administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, visited Shanghai from March 30 to 31. Zhang learned about major talent introduction projects in Shanghai and foreign talent introduction work in New York University Shanghai and Tongji University.

Zhang met with Jeffrey Lehman, vice president of New York University Shanghai and a winner of Chinese Government Friendship Award, and learned about how to build a better environment for foreigners who work in China and how to attract more high-end foreign experts to the country.

Zhang also said he is looking forward to cooperation with Tongji University, where he visited several talent introduction bases.
