Lu Ming meets with IBM China head

Lu Ming, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), met with Li Tao, general-manager of IBM Greater China and head of the Government Innovation Research Institute, on July 11.
They discussed introducing expertise in microelectronics, and exchanged views on the overseas training project in the US this year.
Lu hoped that more experts in microelectronics could be trained through cooperation projects with IBM, and that more breakthroughs will be made in key technologies of the integrated circuits industry.
Other officials also attended the event.
What we do
SAFEA is responsible for certifying foreign experts to work in the Chinese mainland and organizing overseas training for Chinese technical and managerial professionals.
