Sun Zhaohua, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), hosted a meeting with the Ningbo•Institution of Professional Engineers in Japan to discuss project cooperation preparation work.

The Institution of Professional Engineers in Japan was founded in 1959; it now has 18,000 member engineers working in 21 professional areas. Sun visited the institution last year and agreed on deepening cooperation. SAFEA signed a cooperation contract with the institution in April this year.

The two sides will hold a project cooperation meeting in August. The Japanese institution will send experts in machine manufacturing to work on projects in the Yangtze River delta. Experts from China and Japan will go to the project sites in Ningbo to raise practical solutions.
