People in the city of Changchun, Jilin province had just been enjoying the peach blossoms in a gentle spring breeze, and all of a sudden, early on the morning of April 12, they began seeing snowflakes floating about outside the window.

Someone remarked jokingly, "Winter's come early. I must have been asleep a long time," while out on the streets, the unexpected snowfall was making people shiver and rubbing their hands from time to time to warm themselves, or driving more slowly on the slippery streets.
