A press conference was held on June 11 in Fenghuang town, Zhangjiagang in preparation to the 22nd Beibei Cup Youth Football Competition.

More than 200 people attended the conference including Liu Tong, deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau and Wang Yu, deputy mayor of Zhangjiagang and Ge Minya, deputy director of Education Bureau of Zhangjiagang.

Accordingly, the 22nd Beibei Cup Youth Football Competition is to be held in Fenghuang town from July 8 to 13 and will welcome a total of 16 teams across China.

The Beibei Cup Youth Football Competition, the largest and most prestigious youth football event in China, has been held successfully for 21 sessions. It plays a significant role in promoting the popularization of youth football in China.

The Fenghuang Football Training Base was also inaugurated at the conference which is set to offer youths a base for football training and exchanges.
