Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province is prioritizing the construction of green and ecological parks.

Green parks refer to industrial clusters with green manufacturing, intelligent management and a livable environment.

Zhangjiagang Economic and Technological Development Zone is at the forefront of green development in Zhangjiagang. IT will strive to develop high-end equipment manufacturing and strategic emerging industries that save energy, reduce pollution and increase efficiency.

Several innovation bases were also launched which have helped to boost the development of high-tech industries. These bases include the Jiangsu institute of Lithium Battery Technology, Tsinghua University, the Overseas Talent Innovation Base and the National High-tech Entrepreneurship Service Center.
