Luyuan Cultural Center in Tangqiao town hosted a festive activity for children featuring Chinese traditional culture.
Staff at the center detailed the origins and customs of Duanwu Festival, or Dragon Boat Festival, for children.
China's Dragon Boat Festival, which fell on June 7 this year, is one of the oldest festivals in China, with a history of more than 2,000 years.
It includes many traditional customs, such as dragon boat racing, eating zongzi, balancing eggs and hanging auspicious leaves.
Children also learned to make Duanwu Festival-themed stickers, which helped them to cultivate team spirit and a sense of craftsmanship.
