Zhangjiagang municipal transportation bureau and Hangzhou-based Hikvision signed a deal on May 30, to build a joint transportation innovation lab to bolster local smart transportation development.

Hikvision Digital Technology, a leading provider in terms of security products and solutions, boasts advanced technologies and rich practical experience in highway waterway and urban passenger transportation.

Zhangjiagang has stepped into the new era of intelligent transportation. The lab will help the city in the construction and development of modern transportation.

Based on video intelligent analysis and AI artificial which is backed by Hikvision, it aims to develop an internet of things sensing application system which offers dynamic monitoring, abnormal warning and condition assessment, further promoting the city’s intelligent transportation construction.
