The eastern city of Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu province has created a set of new mascots to promote its image as a beautiful, vibrant water town. And it wants your help naming them!

The cute, rotund little creatures were inspired by the puffer fish, a fish that is common in the rivers around Zhangjiagang, and which is also a popular local delicacy.

The blue puffer represents Zhangjiagang, a port city opening to the great Yangtze River, and the orange one symbolizes the numerous tourists travelling to the water town every year.

Together, the two fish stand for the sound development of local tourism in recent years, and bring out an idea of vigor and vitality.

Now, the city is asking the public to send in ideas for names for the two lovely mascots. The names must be under five words long, creative, fun and easy to understand.

You can submit any name ideas via the official website (http://cn.mikecrm.com/f651bXX) or by scanning the QR code below.

But hurry! The deadline for suggestions is June 16.

Zhangjiagang Municipal Tourism Bureau will select its favorite ten name suggestions for a final shortlist. If your name makes the list, you will receive a special travel card that gives you free unlimited access for a whole year to six of the city's most renowned tourist attractions, including Fenghuang Mountain and Suzhou Jiangnan Farming Culture Park.

If your suggestion is chosen as one of the official names of the mascots, you will be given an additional bonus of 1,000 yuan ($145).
