The 2015 Cross-Straits (Zhangjiagang) Agriculture Expo generated a total sales revenue of 20 million yuan ($3.14 million), during the three days of the expo.

The expo opened on Nov 13 and closed on Nov 15, displaying some 2,000 varieties of agricultural products and attracting more than 80,000 buyers.

Local products such as rice and vegetable were popular among buyers, as a vegetable booth sold 2 tons of vegetables each day.

Taiwan fruits had also received warm response by purchasers. One of the vendors said, "We sold 3 tons of fruit at last year's expo while the sales volume doubled this year."

With over 10 years of development, the annual expo has become an important platform for Zhangjiagang to show its agricultural achievement and boost cross-Straits cooperation.
