Ju Reti becomes first amateur APTC winner

All matches for the snooker Asian Player Tour Championship Zhangjiagang Station finished on September 27. Ju Reti, an amateur player from the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, had a historical win after beating Michael Holt 4-1. He became the first amateur player to win the game, the second Chinese mainland winner in a PTC game, and the third Chinese mainland winner of an integral snooker game after Ding Junhui and Fu Jiajun.

Other Chinese players, including Ding Junhui, Fu Jiajun and Li Hang, made their way to the PTC final. Only Ding has won in the past . According to the latest ranking, Ding Junhui is in fifth place, only 160 points behind Shaun Murphy. Fu Jiajun is back in the top 10 again, Fu’s best ranking in three years.
