All organizations and government departments related with entertainment and culture are busy organizing cultural events during Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day for residents in Zhangjiagang of Jiangsu province.

Performers at the Zhangjiagang Cultural Center and Art Center have prepared various performances. During the holidays, there will be performances in city squares every evening, featuring Yue opera and highlights from other operas.

What’s more, more than 100 cultural events will be provided in towns and districts of Zhangjiagang. All the cultural centers will be open to the public for free. The Zhangjiagang Cultural Center will visit nursing homes to perform for the elderly.

The city library will not close during the holidays. The children’s library will organize a series of cultural events such as lectures on traditional customs and calligraphy competitions.
