The Zhangjiagang government has started re-construction of barrier-free facilities for families with handicapped people. A total of 1,063 families will benefit from the project and get more than 3,500 sets of equipment.

The project, starting this year, aims to re-construct 3,000 facilities in the city in three years to improve quality of life for the handicapped.
