Pamphlets stressing proper behavior while traveling have been placed in travel agencies and attractions in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province.

The pamphlets consist of three parts: an initiative detailing proper behavior while travelling, a pledge of proper tourism behavior for Chinese citizens travelling in China, and a pledge of proper tourism behavior for Chinese citizens travelling abroad. The pamphlets are free.

The Zhangjiagang tourism bureau has given out nearly 10,000 pamphlets this year. Media outlets such as websites and newspapers are also making an effort to advocate proper tourism behavior. Public service advertisements are being broadcast on 100 tourism information platforms at various attractions, travel agencies and hotels.
