More students are learning how to drive during their two-month summer vacation. Statistics from Gangchengqiyun driving school show that more than half of the 3,000 driving school students are full-time students. Chen Menglian, who will enter Yangzhou University in September, said she plans to get a driver’s license before entering college. She prefers the period of 6-10 am as it is not so hot. Unfortunately, she discovered many other people chose the period for the same reason.

In fact, most people will choose morning classes so there is fierce competition for the time slots. They have to make appointments days ahead of class. Chen said if she wants to have class on August 6, she has to make an appointment on August 2.

People are allowed to make appointments 14 days ahead of class at Gangchengqiyun driving school.
