A heat wave is hitting Zhangjiagang city of Jiangsu province. Yao Linrong, mayor of the city, visited workers who have to keep working during the high temperatures on July 17, 2013.
Yao expressed his appreciation to traffic policemen on duty in the eastern area of the city. Yao asked about working hours for the policemen and their sunstroke prevention measures. He asked related officials to take necessary measures to keep every policeman from heatstroke.

Leaders of the crew told Yao it only takes 17 minutes to get to the site after they receive power failure reporting calls and they will keep working until the power supply resumes. “Your work is excellent, thank you!” Yao said.
Yao Linrong also visited firemen in Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone, workers at Yunpan waste transfer station and road maintenance, and reconstruction workers. Yao gave them sunstroke prevention equipment and asked them to be careful of safety and health.
