The city of Zhangjiagang is upgrading the road network in rural areas by investing 300 million yuan on the renovation of 49 rural roads this year, and all projects are expected to be finished by the end of the year, according to the plans of the city’s transportation authorities.

As of the end of May, the city has invested a total of 98.71 million yuan in various transportation projects.
