Zhangjiagang Port has processed auto exports worth around $20 million so far this year, statistics from the Zhangjiagang entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau show.
The port has seen exports of 3,257 cars from brands such as Chery and JAC to Latin American countries like Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay since the beginning of this year.
The leading infrastructure and berth conditions in Zhangjiagang have attracted a lot of clients. The port’s role in affecting vehicle and part imports and exports in the Yangtze River Basin has been enhanced.
Soon, another batch of 810 JAC cars will arrive at Zhangjiagang Port for export to Brazil on roll-on roll-off ships.
The Zhangjiagang entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau has also made great efforts in providing convenience for auto exporting companies and accelerating clearances.
