I. Location

China Wu Culture Expo Park is located in the southeast of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, and separated with Suzhou by the Wangyu River in the east and south. It is 20 km away from the downtown area of Wuxi, 23 km away from Suzhou, 15 km away from Wuxi New District, 7 km away from the Shanghai-Nanjing Railway in the south, 9 km away from the 312 national highway, 4 km away from the Shuofang exit of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway in the west, and 7 km away from Wuxi Airport. It enjoys convenient transportation, with Xizhang Expressway and Shanghai-Nanjing Railway in the vicinity.

II. Development orientation

In June 2008, the Wuxi municipal committee and the municipal government decided to build China Wu Culture Expo Park for the purpose of practicing scientific development. This is a significant strategic decision to optimize the industrial structure, improve regional functions, and highlight the soft strength and urban comprehensive competitiveness of Wuxi. Followed by Wuxi (Taihu) International Science Park and Wuxi Airport Industrial Park, China Wu Culture Expo Park is a special functional area in Wuxi New District in the theme of Wu culture protection, development and utilization.

The main functional area of China Wu Culture Expo Park (the area in the east of Hongshan Road and the south of Bodu Port) covers an area of 18 square kilometers. The radial area can also reach 18 square kilometers (Bodu Port, Meili Old Town and Hongshan Wu Culture New Town). Rich Wu Yue culture heritage and primitive Jiangnan farming wetland empower this treasured place with high protection value and development prospects. In the principles of linking culture with ecology and economy with society, the park is striving to be a national 5A cultural tourism functional area that features rich tourism resources, vivid cultural connotation, sophisticated functional layout, nice eco-environment, powerful industrial development and promising brand image. On the strength of Hongshan Site Museum and Jiangnan farming wetland, such elements as culture, ecology, recreation, tourism and industry are highlighted for the harmonious theme of mankind, nature and society.

China Wu Culture Expo Park possesses the intact natural eco-environment of the Wu civilization, which spans 3,200 years. It is home to the Hongshan Site Museum and Xidong Area, which are the best choice to carry forward transformation development, create cultural and ecological consciousness, and build a country-level cultural ecological reserve. With unremitting efforts, the park will create a dreamland oriented to the functions of "cultural tourism destination and an ecological and leisurely new town" - a "dreamy Jiangnan" that was lost as well as a famous resort away from metropolis and in pursuit of slow lifestyle for both physical and mental relaxation.

1. High-end real estate industry

On the strength of good ecological and cultural environment, high-end dwellings are prioritized, thus forming a low-carbon and high quality international community that features a slow lifestyle. The Nanjing Aoti Timeshare Resort Project and Daiwa House Townhouse Project were emphasized in 2010.
