The city of Wuxi, located in Jiangsu province, launched an online platform for the upcoming Jiangsu Development Summit on April 19.

Named "Jiangsu Development Summit, Meet in Wuxi", it is the first city-level platform to promote the important event that will take place Nanjing, the provincial capital, on May 19-21.

Organized by Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC and Jiangsu Provincial Government, the summit is aimed at offering a platform for both Jiangsu natives and talented individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds to gather for the purpose of discussing the province's development.

The event is expected to attract more than 1,500 people and will include Jiangsu natives as well as those studying and working in the East China province.

Wuxi's online platform features a variety of videos, pictures, and interactive sections. The service illustrates the latest achievements of the city's development as well as telling some of the legendary stories of locals and their affection for the city.

Following the conclusion of the summit in Nanjing, Wuxi participants will reconvene in their hometown to further investigative and conduct exchange activities.
