A company in Wuxi has created the world's first electrostatic speaker made from graphene.

The speaker, developed by Wuxi JCNO Materials, uses graphene resin composite materials, which are able to produce medium and low bass that conventional metal resin compounds cannot reach.

The graphene speaker is also simpler, longer-lasting and cheaper to produce than traditional technology.

Electrostatic speaker sounds by vibrating the diaphragm before and after with the action of electrostatic force. It can capture the extremely small changes in the music signal to fully show the charm of music.

This kind of speaker has already been used in many places like cars, aircraft, companies, theaters and exhibitions.

Wuxi JCNO Materials was established by a team of scientists in 2015 and focuses on graphene, nanotubes and other nano-modified research materials.
