Netafim, an Israeli pioneer of drip and micro-irrigation products, has invested $200 million in a farm in Jiangyin, according to the Wuxi government.

The farm, a 73-hectare area in Xuxiake town, will focus on planting, cultivating, packaging, cold storage, food processing, labeling, marketing and logistics, relying on Israel's state-of-the-art crop management techniques.

It will also establish a business model to ensure high quality, safety and freshness of its foodstuffs at competitive prices.

Netafim, founded in 1965, is recognized as the world-leading provider of drippers and dripper lines.

The company's offerings include drippers, dripper lines, sprinklers and micro-emitters. Netafim also manufactures and distributes crop management technologies, including monitoring and control systems, dosing systems, and crop management software.
