Wuxi's national 5A-level scenic spot, Turtle Head Isle or Yuantouzhu, turns 100 this year and to celebrate, three construction projects have been launched to revitalize facilities and various themed events will be held throughout the year.
The park will also play host to this year's 2016 China Tourism Day, and will be joined by other scenic spots with histories of 100 years or more, to create a 100-year-old scenic spots association.
China Tourism Day falls on May 19 and on that day Turtle Head Isle will have 10,000 limited edition annual visitor cards on offer at a discounted rate. A summit forum, boat trips and a flower exhibition will also be held.
