The city of Kunshan in Jiangsu province has issued its first English language map. The maps are available free for the public to take.
The map highlights areas, landmarks and useful places in the city such as governmental foreign affair branches, tourist resorts, districts and towns. It also presents an introduction of the city and information on traffic, local specialties and entertainment venues. The map features a handy appendix, which gives a detailed presentation of the downtown, forest park and railway station areas.
The first 10,000 English maps were placed at Kunshan South Railway Station, Kunshan Terminal and hotels and are waiting to go home with English speaking expats and residents.
The map was compiled and revised by governmental departments and foreign experts and aims to make it more convenient for expats to navigate the city.
