A lifestyle of Zhouzhuang

Zhouzhuang is classified as a national 5A scenic area. It is a town with water closing all around it, so that boats are must for people living there. 14 ancient bridges built in the Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasties over the watercourses are well preserved. More than 800 residents had their houses built along rivers And nearly a thousand ancient buildings are well-preserved, more than 60 percent of which were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Ticket prices:

Scenic area: 100 yuan ($16.28) per person from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Transportation:

From Xinkezhan bus station to Zhouzhuang: bus No 130.

From Kunshan Railway station to Zhouzhuang: transfer from Bus No 3 (outer/ inner ring)/ No 30/ No 33 (eastern/ western ring)/ No 111/ No 88/ No 117 at Xinkezhan bus station to bus No 130.

From Shanghai to Zhouzhuang: transfer to tourism bus No 7 at Huaqiao station on Shanghai subway line 11.
