A roadshow for innovation and entrepreneurship projects from 25 teams of overseas experts was held in Wuxi's Binhu district on July 3.

More than 20 projects were selected from among a total of 70 to move onto the finals of an entrepreneurship contest set up for overseas talents.

The high-quality projects were launched by teams consisting of high-end talents such as doctors and postdoctoral fellows from overseas universities.

Participants gave a brief introduction to their projects, describing the features, advantages and applications. Their projects covered a wide range of fields such as data integration platforms and medical equipment.

Dozens of enterprises and 20 investment institutions attended the roadshow, and some of them signed letters of intent to cooperate with three expert teams after the roadshow.

Yin Yi, vice director of Binhu district, invited high-caliber overseas personnel to start their careers in the district. Yin said local government is striving to improve the environment for innovation and entrepreneurship by facilitating the transfer of innovative results.
