Wuxi airport opens summer route to Guizhou

A flight linking Beijing, Wuxi and Tongren in Guizhou is to come into service on Aug 9, to handle greater passenger demands during the peak summer holiday season, Wuxi Daily reported.

The route, to be operated daily by China Eastern Airlines, will depart Beijing at 10:30 am and arrive at Wuxi at 12:45, after a one hour stop over the flight will land at Tongren, Guizhou province at 3:50 pm. The return flight will depart Tongren at 4:50 pm.

The cost for a one-way ticket is 780 yuan ($116.9).

Tongren is a popular scenic spot famous for its beautiful scenery, such as Mount Fanjing, the main peak of the Wuling Mountain Range. The city ranks as one of China's 10 most popular summer resorts, covering more than 500 square kilometers of primitive forest.
