Animation enthusiasts descended on Turtle Head Isle in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on March 26 and 27 for the Third Taihu International Animation Festival.

Dedicated cosplayers from across the globe were invited to participate in the event giving visitors a taste of their favorite animated characters in real life.

From 4.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on both evenings, cosplayers signed posters for animation fans at the scenic spot. An anime music performance featuring the them tunes from many famous animated shows was performed as well as there being associated products on sale.

Coinciding with the Wuxi International Cherry Blossom Festival, Turtle Head Isle has enjoyed a peak in visitor numbers.
