Baotou top for disposable income in Inner Mongolia

Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has maintained fast economic growth with the disposable income of urban households ranking first in the autonomous region, according to the statistics bureau of Baotou.

The disposable income of urban households in the first three quarters of 2016 hit 31,000 yuan ($4,600), year-on-year growth of 7.4 percent. The figure is higher than the autonomous region average of 24,895 yuan, and the national average of 25,337 yuan.

The city ranked fourth in the autonomous region for the disposable income of rural households during the first three quarters of 2016, with an average of 10,313 yuan per household. The figure represents year-on-year growth of 7.4 percent, and is 2,473 yuan more than the regional average, and 1,315 yuan more than the national average.

The GDP of the city totaled 28.32 billion yuan during the first three quarters of 2016, year-on-year growth of 7.6 percent, 0.5 percent higher than the growth rate of the autonomous region as a whole, and 0.9 percent higher than the national growth rate.
