Scheduled to be in service before the end of May, Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Zone is undergoing final preparations for assessment in Changsha county, Hunan province.
The total construction area of the bonded zone will span 146,000 square kilometers, including customs check areas, office buildings and warehouses for standard commodities and cold chain goods.
Some 17 future projects will boost the bonded processing, trade, logistics and services sectors, which are expected to bring in a total import-export volume of $1.15 billion by the end of the year.
Approved by the State Council in May this year, the bonded zone will focus on cutting-edge industries, such as digital information, bio-med, advanced equipment and precision instruments.
